Made from the fruit of the Spiny Monkey Apple Tree. The fruits are sun dried for several months, stripped of their skins, decorated by hand then waxed and oiled to a lustrous shine.

Grown and crafted in White River, South Africa, predominately by women. These talented crafters are struggling to overcome the obstacles of poverty, disease, and lack of education to better their lives.

As a sustainable resource the seeds are given to villagers who re-introduce the seedlings back into the environment. This ensures that there will be future harvesting opportunities as well as to protect the number of trees in nature.
